What is Chabad of Wallingford?
What is Chabad? Well, that depends on you. For many, Chabad is a delicious Shabbat dinner with friends or celebrating Holidays together. For others, a friend and a listening ear or a place to discover the tremendous depth and beauty of Judaism through our classes. But for all of the above, it’s a place where you are accepted and welcome, no matter one’s affiliation or background!
Chabad is a home away from home for every Jew in Wallingford and surrounding towns - and now we’re asking for your support. We are just months away from completing the first stage of our new center! Imagine being able to pray together in a warm, comfortable setting, knowing that this space is permanent and ours. A place where we can offer a variety of classes and programs. A place to celebrate holidays and our rich Jewish heritage together. It’s happening, and you can be a part of it.
How does a Match Campaign work?
$115,000 does seem like a lot of money for hard-working people like you, but with the help of a few generous donors, your money will count for even more. Our Matchers have committed to matching the first $40,000 we raise dollar for dollar, which means that your $40,000 is now worth $80,000!
