Our Sunday class has been running for almost twenty years — but it’s never too late to join! Each week’s lesson stands on its own, so you can jump in anytime. Using the weekly Torah portion as our guide, we explore contemporary struggles through the timeless wisdom of Kabbalah. This week’s topic: “Mission (Not) Impossible.” Eliezer is tasked by his master, Avraham, to journey to a distant land and convince a young woman — with her parents blessings — to return with him to marry a completely unknown, 37-year-old bachelor. Sounds daunting? Don’t worry — Avraham assures him, “An angel will go before you.” Do we still have guardian angels today? And if so, how does that work? Join us this Sunday to find out!

We are so excited to share that we have partnered with the Jewish Learning Institute to offer an array of facinating classes that will now be offered at Chabad! The first course "How Hapiness Thinks, Unlocking Jewish Wisdom for a Joyful Life" addresses something that we all want to have, we all want to be, but for some reason find elusive. Staying positive about life means staying positive about ourselves. In this second step, we look at the importance of nurturing a healthy self-concept and how to avoid negative feelings about ourselves. Oftentimes it is feelings of nihilism and excessive navel-gazing that drag us down, but they can be countered by two prime, if seemingly paradoxical, Jewish principles: that I matter as an individual—but it isn’t all about me.
